Margaret A. (Peggy) Kostial is a Senior Managing Director with Accenture, a global management consulting, technology and outsourcing firm with more than 358,000 employees that serves clients in more than 120 countries. Ms. Kostial heads the company’s North America business in the Energy, Chemicals, Mining, and Utilities sectors and is a member of Accenture’s Global Leadership Council.
During Ms. Kostial’s 29 year career at Accenture she has primarily focused on the Oil & Gas industry specializing in driving large scale transformational change across all facets of the operational and functional areas of her client’s businesses, including being the Managing Director responsible for Accenture’s North America Energy Practice from 2006 to 2012. Ms. Kostial’s other career highlights include leading an e-business venture and leading the Firm’s strategic business relationships with Microsoft and SAP for the Energy industry.
Ms. Kostial is a board member for the Accenture Foundation and the Houston Zoo. She is also an advisory board member to Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Management and to SpringSpirit, a Houston based non-profit focused on programs for underprivileged and at-risk youth. Lastly, Ms. Kostial is one of 16 Vice Chairs of the 2017 Houston Super Bowl Host Committee.
Ms. Kostial graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mathematics and a concentration in Chemistry. She joined Accenture in Houston in 1986 and was promoted to managing director in 1996.
