Shell Oil Company
Bruce is the President of Shell Oil Company. He graduated in 1981 from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management, and shortly thereafter began his 30 plus year career with Shell at the Norco Manufacturing Complex in Louisiana. Since then he has progressed through a series of increasingly responsible positions in Human Resources and line management in Shell’s Downstream & Upstream businesses.
Bruce represents Shell and serves as a Board Director for a number of organizations, including: The Greater Houston Partnership, Center for Houston’s Future, Greater Houston United Way, Houston Golf Association, Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation, and Costal Conservations Association’s Building Conservation Trust. Bruce is also a Life Member and Committee Volunteer for the Houston Livestock and Rodeo.
Bruce lives and works in Houston, and is married to Marguerite. They have two children, daughter Ashley who is a graduate of Auburn University, and Addison, who attends the University of Alabama. Bruce is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, shooting sports, fishing and water-sports. He also has a keen interest in land and water conservation.
