Looking for a delectable steak? You can’t go wrong with a lot of Houston options, but if you’re in Uptown or The Galleria, check out Del Frisco’s, which will provide equal parts fantastic people watching and delicious steak and wine pairings.

If Old Country trattoria ambiance & classic Italian cooking is what you’re in the mood food, be sure to try Grotto, located just across the street from The Galleria. One of the most iconic photo spaces in Houston is the Gerald D. Hines Water Wall Park, which is located just south of the Galleria. Built at the base of the Williams Tower, the Water Wall is a 64-foot tall U-shaped fountain with water running down both sides. It’s a great place to sit and relax, or bring the family and have a picnic on the lawn adjacent to the fountain.
