Depending on what time of year you visit Katy, you’ll want to check out Typhoon Texas, which is a new waterpark located in the Katy area. Not only does it boast a 25,000-square-foot Texas-sized wave pool, there are more than 35 slide paths stretching a third of a mile, so lots of places for kids and adults alike to get lost in all the fun. Plus, they serve some of the best BBQ on site and it’s plenty big enough for you and the entire family, and you can even rent out cabanas to stay out of the sun and give yourself a home base for the afternoon.

Top Golf Katy: Be sure to check out Top Golf Katy – one of Houston’s three locations. Be warned – Top Golf is always packed with date nights and family adventures. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never swung a golf club before or you’re on the PGA tour, it truly is a fun adventure for anyone and everyone. The best part is that it’s kid-friendly, but it also has a full-service bar and huge food menu, so it can make for a great night out, no matter who you’re spending it with!
